The Mt. Hermon Community Center will have a family friendly dance, Saturday night featuring Mt. Hermon Country. Doors open at 6pm and the dance starts at 7pm.

City of Lafayette will pick up Thursday and Friday’s garbage on Wednesday. Please have garbage out the night before.

County Government Offices in Macon County will be closed Thursday and Friday in observance of Thanksgiving. The County Clerk’s office will be closed Thursday, open on Friday and then closed on Saturday.

Macon Helps will be closed Thursday and Friday in observance of Thanksgiving and will reopen Tuesday.

RBS Church of Christ invites you to a Thanksgiving Day Meal from 11-1pm. Dine in at the building or call in advance to 615-666-7500 or 615-699-2840 and leave message to order plates to go or for delivery. Leave your name, phone number, how many plates you’ll need and address if for delivery.

Vendors are needed for the annual Hilltop Market Sale in Red Boiling Springs. The one day sale will be March 15th. If you’d like to learn more about becoming a vendor – email hilltopmarketsale@gmail.com. (Remove 12/30)
Calvary Baptist Church will have their Annual Christmas Backpack Program. The church will give away backpacks full of essential supplies for children ages 2-17 who are in need. They’ll be given away on the morning of Dec. 14th, following a light breakfast and Christmas program at the church. Interested individuals must register by Dec. 7th, by calling Craig Harris at 615-633-8090.

The Macon County Senior Center has meals each day. If you’re interested in eating with them call 615-666-3780 for more information.

Bro Phil Mayle will preach at Lafayette Missionary Baptist Church, Sunday night at 6pm.

Maple Grove #2 Missionary Baptist Church has Sunday School at 10am and worship service at 11am with Elder Dean Dyer and Bro Brian Flynn will preach Sunday night at 6pm.
