Tonight is the last night of the Lafayette Lions and Lioness Lions Club’s 28th Annual Radio Auction catch it from 5:30pm – 10pm, right here on Country 102.1FM. During the auction call 615-666-2195 to place your bid.

Westside Haunted Barn at 665 Green Grove Road is open every Friday and Saturday night from 7pm – 10pm. Admission is $8 per person – all ticket sales, concessions and donations benefit Wounded Warrior Project.


The week of October 21st has been designated as Fall Clean-Up Week for the Lafayette City residents for items not normally picked up by the sanitation truck. City hall will be taking drop offs from 7:30-2:30pm, the 21st thru the 25th. Bring the items to the side lot at City Hall, one trip per address and id/proof of address must be presented at drop off. The following items will not be accepted, mattresses or box springs, wood or construction material, brick or block, wire, tires, paint, chemicals, vehicle parts or any items containing Freon.

The Mt. Hermon Community Center will have a dance Saturday featuring Southern Rain. Doors open at 6pm and the dance starts at 7pm.

The 37150 Community Center monthly meeting will be Saturday at 12pm at the RBS Branch Library.

You’re invited to a free event - Chef Mark Anthony’s Dinner and a Message “Secrets of the Wellness Centers”, Sunday at 2pm at the Macon County Chamber of Commerce. Seating is limited, come early. For more information call 615-666-6931.

The Macon County Legislative Body will meet in regular session, Monday night at 6:30pm.

The VFW will have a Fish Fry, Saturday from 1-4pm at 119 Main Street. Cost is $10 for adults and $8 for ages 12 and under.

Central Elementary’s Autumn Extravaganza will be Friday from 4-8pm. Stop by and enjoy concessions, bingo, prize walk and more.

Macon County Arts Council invites you to a Free Concert in Key Park featuring The George Ridenour Band, tonight from 6-8pm.

Lafayette Missionary Baptist Church will have a special Fall Activity filled with Christian fellowship and delicious food, Saturday at 2pm.

Revival’s in progress at Sycamore Valley Missionary Baptist Church. Services nightly at 7pm, Saturday and Sunday services at 11am. Bro Ross Brawner, Bro Scotty Langford and Bro Troy Mungle will be preaching.

Bro Christian Rittenberry will preach at Maple Grove #2 Missionary Baptist Church, Sunday night at 6pm.

A Gospel Meeting featuring speaker Andy Alexander will begin at Walton Chapel Church of Christ, Sunday and go through the 25th (Fri). Sunday services at 9am, 10am and 3pm a singing at 2pm and nightly services at 7pm.
